About Us

So many people loved and cared about Daisy Mae, we designed this website as a way to share our adventures with Daisy with all the friends she has made regardless of where they live.

Our Staff

Daisy had many people and other animals on her staff who made their goals in life to simply wait on and please Daisy Mae. Smedley was our 17 year old lab who we were lucky enough to have with us for the the last 5 years of her amazing life. She was just a sweet old girl who would bark any time, any place if she wanted a treat. And the there is Floyd who use to sit and wait for Daisy to finish her meal, looking longingly at her food dish until she would toss it at him with one long flip of her front paw which normally would send her dish flying along with three or four pieces of kibble that she had left for Floyd to eat up gleefully. He is truly the best friend a dog, cat or person could hope for. Floyd is not alone, we have adopted Gavin, a very sweet special needs dog who is very seriously trying to take over the heavy burden of being the face of our organization to help other special needs pets.

Daisy Mae, aka "Her Highness", and "Trash Talker"

Daisy was our program coordinator. In her lifetime, she enjoyed swimming, eating, snuggling with plush toys, peanut butter and making Floyd wait on her. She hated being left at home, having her teeth brushed and her feet touched.

Princess Smedley 12/20/93 - 09/30/2010

Smedley came into the Veterinary Hospital where I work 5 years ago and needed a home. We couldn't find anyone to take a twelve year old lab with two bad knees, an obsessive barker and a bad attitude. She turned into the most sweet natured and lovable pup. Our secret, if she barks, give her whatever she wants, she is 16 1/2 years old, she deserves it. Smed will not take any attitude from the young boys but always did what Daisy told her to do. She recently had surgery for cancer and we are hopeful for a positive outcome. Since this publication, Smedley did pass away but was so happy and eating organic cream filled cookies for dogs right up until the end. We miss her every day.

Pretty Boy Floyd

Floyd can be described by many words, wonderful, sweet, thoughtful, kind and smart to name but a few. He is a dog who is always concerned about the other dogs, cats and his people. During Daisy's life, Floyd always checked on her well-being and was always nearby to clean up any food she may have dropped.
